- Trim the stems — Cut 2–3 cm off the bottom at a 45° angle as soon as they arrive.
- Use a clean vase — Fill with cool, fresh water. Change the water every 2 days.
- Remove lower leaves — Strip any leaves that sit below the waterline to prevent bacteria.
- Keep them cool — Place away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and ripening fruit.
- Mist lightly — A light spray of water on the petals each morning keeps them hydrated.
- Feed them — Use the flower food sachet included in your delivery for longer life.
I ordered the flowers around 12pm South African time for my wife who works in Nairobi Kenya. No later than 18:00pm they were already delivered in a great package at her work place.
